And now it begins. National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to write 50,000 words of a novel in the month on November. Yep, it's crazy. But it's also grand!
Wow! The first day, NaNo participants reported more than 2.9 million words. Participants on my forum reported more than 12,900 words! I'm really excited, because folks on my forum are already begin to learn about writing, writing stories, writing books. What a wondrous thing!
A bunch of my friends are doing NaNo this year, and I'm hosting a forum to keep up with everyone's progress. If you're doing NaNo, you're welcome to join our whinge-fest. If you're not, feel free to post messages of encouragement.
NaNoWriMo Forum - post a message or just read everyone else's
Forum Participants - meet the other wacky folks
If you want me to add you to the Participants page, send an image (the sillier, the better) and a blurb about your NaNo project to email@example.com. (Don't worry about the size of the image; I'll reduce it to a thumbnail myself if need be.)
